Using Current ID for Domestic Flight?
« on: June 03, 2018, 03:49:39 pm »

Hey all,

First time flying tomorrow, and I now know that Arkansas is compliant with the Real ID act that was put into place. That said, I was issued my DL in 2017 after Arkansas became compliant and it says "not for federal identification." The way I understand it is that if you fly domestically, you can still use this ID until 2020. It is in 2020 that you must have the new ID to board domestic flights. Am I wrong on this, or am I making an early trip to the DMV in the morning? Thanks!
