Wally Hall on transfers
« on: April 06, 2018, 11:42:28 am »

He's been silent in his column. Strikes me as odd.

He's too busy with Tex Mex, horse racing, name dropping, and being irrelevant.  He will sing the praises of WMS, that grand ole dame of sporting venues

It's his job.
These transfers are the biggest sports story going this week and therefore it should be something that the sports editor of the statewide newspaper has something to say about.

The spring game being held at WMS and trying to get more than 10,000 people to show up is the only thing on his mind.

Is wally's opinion the deciding factor of how it really is, I think not , or is it that some is hoping for a negative veiw of the situation to be written in a state wide paper.

Yep, JK hadn't even been mentioned in the thread, and I would obviously never say that about JK.  And if you know Wally you know he's all about Tex Mex, name dropping, the races.

No but I would hope Wally (if he does his job) could give us fans a little insight into what actually happened.
I'm not looking for a positive or negative view of the situation - just the truth will be fine.

If it's the truth you are after I wouldn't look to Wally for it.  For one he writes an opinion column not a fact based article.  In fact he often gets the facts wrong.  Bob Holt or Tom Murphy would be better sources for the truth.

He's waiting for somebody important to tell him how he's supposed to feel about them leaving.

Then he'll tell us how it is.

He can't decide if he refers to himself as yours truly, your trusty scribe or world's tallest midget. He's waiting for clarification from ex-editors of the Dem-Gaz, Little Rock.
