in the nit they had two tv to's a quarter. tv is not giving up commericial time, but tv will complain about the length of the games
TV will give it up when they are forced to. Quarters are better, but not if it means an additional tv timeouts. We get four as it stands, 5 if you go to quarters the way the NIT did. I prefer 3 each half. Or limit a coaches amount of timeouts. Timeouts were given when there was no stoppages of play. Give a coach 1 each quarter, or 2 a half. That's all he needs, don't use them, you lose them. Would even say a coach gets 3 timeouts a game. He can save them or use them up, its up to him.

No problem with that. With all the tv timeouts I wonder why teams need 4 to's a game anyway.

As a coach I'd rather have less so parents aren't asking why i didn't use them all. Sometimes coaches feel obligated to have to use them. Less is more.

do go to quarter something with timeouts has to be done.

if each coach took a timeout in a quarter with two tv timeouts, that is 4 stops in a 10 minute quarter

get rid of the 30 sec timeouts, and each team gets 3 a game

That would make too much sense.
