Your post there just adds fuel to the speculation that Woods is back on the juice. In his 40s, with major back surgery, and after a long layoff yet able to keep up with much younger guys in their prime.

Hmmmmm.........

Lol you wish

The guy seems to be having more fun on the course and yet he's juicing. Cue the crazy mood swings and such.

he has lost flexibility with age.

So naturally that equates to higher club head speed than any of the young guys who haven't lost any flexibility.

The only thing on this earth that matters to Tiger is winning at golf.  He would do anything to do it.  Anything.  We know that he has already done it.  Well, at least those who weren't last seen playing a banjo on Deliverance know that he wasn't getting flu shots from Dr. Galea.  Does anyone think Tiger WOULDN'T do whatever he thinks it would take to go from #650 in the world golf rankings to having adulation poured on him again?  That's what I think, too.

do any of you fools know that he's always had the fastest clubhead speed on tour?   like, since forever with 4-5 different swings?

theyve written articles how the only difference between him and jb holmes is angle of descent(actually ascent in holmes's case) into the ball.

meanwhile, rory being 5'7 and hitting it 380 is natural as hell doe.

I bet Nicklaus could still hit that iron shot 240 yards up the hill to the 18th green at Baltusrol, too, just like he did in '67.  After all, since he did it once he could probably do it again.

if nicklaus were in peak physical condition at 42 again, prolly.

if it's conceivable he's juiced, it's also conceivable he's healed and 100% again.

He ainít 100% where it counts.  Two weeks in a row, he was in the hunt and made bad errors to knock himself out of contention.  That drive yesterday was like something a fifteen handicapper would hit under pressure.

I thought Notah Begay was going to cry when it left the club face.  There was only one place it could end up unless a seagull caught it in mid-air and dropped it in the fairway.

The shots on the next two holes weren't much better.

I actually kind of like Tiger now.  I think he is at peace where he is and is just doing his best trying to win at a tough game like everyone else.

I figure he will win one more major sometime in the next four or five years like Nicklaus at Augusta in 1986.

At Tigerís age Nicklaus was pretty much done.  He had won a lot more recently than Tiger but he would only have three more tour wins after age 42.  That 86 Masters came out of nowhere.  Tiger is going to have a week like that sometime in the next three or four years but it is going to have to be after everyone quits expecting him to do anything and there is no pressure whatsoever.

tigers physical fitness may give him more miles than Jack.  if anyone has the workout commitment like Player, it's ETW.

but that putter is hot right now.  he's just gotta get it to within 50' more often.

I donít know how anyone could conclude anything but that Tigerís commitment to fitness has done anything but harm his golf.  Tiger is going to tweak his back one day and odds are, it wonít be in the golf course when he does it.

Nicklaus would have won several more majors late in his career...the 1977 Masters, 1977 British Open, 1981 Masters, 1982 U.S. Open, and 1983 PGA...if great young players like Tom Watson and Hal Sutton hadn't played lights out to beat him.  The same would happen to Tiger if he played well enough to win a major, which he hasn't done since probably 2009.  Someone, or multiple someones, like Rory or Dustin or John Rahm or Justin Thomas...players who day in and day out are better than he is right now...will shoot lower scores.  He's not playing in a vacuum like he was in his 20s and 30s, when it was pretty much just a matter of whether Tiger played well and if he did everyone else folded.

So we have now seen the guy start to fall apart, as some Tiger haters want to put it, late in the 4th round.  I actually could see that to be expected.  You guys go walk 9-18 holes along with all the practice and warm ups for a few weeks straight and see what happens.  It will take him a few more tournaments to have the stamina really needed.

I have to believe all of this plays part in too his schedule of being ready for the masters.

TW is the Barry Bonds of golf. The sooner we all admit it, the better off we will be. Oh, and Rory won! He shot a 64 on Sunday, yet no one is talking about that. Itís all Eldrick.

Tiger Woods has been made the favorite to win the 2018 Masters next week. How idiotic can Las Vegas be ? Or maybe they are the smartest entity in the room. I think the latter. The odds makers at Las Vegas have made a Eldrick the betting favorite when he hasn't won a major in 10 years. They are pumping up the masses to get on the Tiger bandwagon and bet the hell out of Woods so they can make a killing of money off of Woods when he once again disappoints. Rory McIlroy is going to win this years Masters over a Justin Thomas and Jordan Speith. I say McIlroy wins with a (-17) aggregate for four days at Augusta. McIlroy's driver is ready with that high draw. It is the one shot that MUST be hit to win the Masters. Nobody is hitting the high draw better nor further than Rory right now.  So you dreamers who think Eldrick can pull off yet another Masters win, so sorry to tell that Eldrick will play well, maybe even top 10, but he's hitting a high slider for control now and you don't win doing that at Augusta. Why do you think Bubba Watson has won the Master's twice ? He hits a big cut off the tee but from the other side of the ball than Eldrick which makes his shot a draw for righties. Anyway, when Tiger was winning Masters at a Golden Bear type rate, Eldrick was hitting a draw. If Tiger tries to draw the ball off the tee with a driver, it's going dead right because he spins out of the shot and has since being hurt. So put Rory's first green jacket on him and let the pubs in Dublin flow with some dark beer. So let it be written, so let it be done.

Do you really believe the myth that Las Vegas odds makers create every line in every game of every sport to make a vain attempt to have equal amounts of money bet on both sides ? If you think that, I've got a bridge, oh well forget it. That line is too predictable. A majority of the time they do try to be satisfied with the juice. But many times when they have high percentage plays on low percentage lines, the odds makers hit that "big lick" for the casinos who employ them. This is done mostly during the mid point of the NFL season as predicting professional football is the most reliable. They create the Joe Public lines. Lines that look too good to be true. These lines draw money from Joe Public up to 75% on the obvious side. For instance, say Green Bay has a record of 5-2 and Detroit has a record of 3-3 and Detroit is a 3.5 dog. You see these types of lines several times each NFL season. The vast majority of money falls on Green Bay, say 5 dollars to 3 dollars. You look up Sunday afternoon at the 19th hole and the final reads, Detroit 23 Green Bay 20. Las Vegas does not pay electrical bills in the hottest desert in the world by taking juice money exclusively. There's just not enough money in that.

ad: Hawgndaaz, if you'd like, I'll give you a game which fits that bill this Fall...I'll make you some money and won't even ask for a 'thank you tip'

Even if he was right, I don't see how Vegas would be the ones who were idiotic there. That would seem smart to me. Bring in tons of money on him, he probably doesn't win, but he if he does, he was your favorite and it didn't kill you.
