Eddie Sutton when he was coaching
« on: February 03, 2018, 09:08:37 pm »

takes this exact same team and they are battling Auburn for the championship.
Nolan Richardson when he was coaching takes this exact same team and they are so intimidated by him that they hustle their butts off, work and fight and they are battling for a championship.
It's all about MA. It's his team, he picked the players, he created the atmosphere and he can't adjust his philosophy to best fit this team. He's a really nice guy but he is not Nolan 2.0, he is more like Stan Heath.
For those of you picking the Hogs to go 5-3 the rest of the way and finish 9-9 and make the NCAA, you are dreaming. Kentucky, at Bama, at Ole Miss, at Mizzou, Auburn are all Ls. Vandy has bounced back and is a dangerous team, especially when your coach can't figure out how to guard the 3s. South Carolina is big and physical and we saw what A&M did to the smaller, softer Hogs. A&M again. In the words of John Calapari today, "we could lose all 8 and go 0-8."So could we....

Maybe we should just be patient and give Mike a chance to get his players in here.

It's only been seven years.

And we all just love the glorious fast forty.

How embarrassing it must be for the PA announcer at BWA to have to say "Get ready for the fastest 40 minutes of basketball" this coming Tuesday.

Lay off Mike!

Forrest City Joe showed me the truth!

It's NOT FAIR to compare Mike to Eddie and Nolan!

We should all be happy that Arkansas basketball actually exists at all!

Mike is just fine. Making the NCAA Tournament is overrated.

Sweet Sixteen? Who needs it?

If you don't love Mike, go kick rocks!

Eddie was one of the best coaches in college basketball. He was the one that really built BWA.
