LSU? What's the deal?
« on: January 04, 2018, 08:27:11 am »

What they have there is a failure to communicate.  The question is why.  or should say WHY?

It's a given that their talent is elite.  On a level with anyone.
They field top notch defenses pretty much every year.
A recent coaching change occurred for several reasons but the biggest was lack of offense, refusal to open up the offense.
Enter Coach O.   This was not seen as a home run hire.  More of a home town hire.   From his previous experience as a sec head coach, he should be desperate to win games.   His main worry on defense is nothing more than keeping his d coaches.

Once again, offensive woes and limitations are making the natives restless.   Basically 1 yr in and already an offensive coordinator change.   I don't understand how coaches can't hear the fans screaming for changes and not at least trying to accommodate.  In other words, with the money thrown around and the prestige of being a successful major college coach, why wouldn't a guy hire the hot new name, even say Enos?, and get the hell out of his way?   Are they afraid someone else will get the credit?

Even if the hogs aren't playing well, this sec soap opera is never dull.   With the yearly lsu offensive woes and auburn's players announcing for pro football keeps the hogs out of the headlines.
