Recovery on Meniscus?
« on: December 31, 2017, 06:03:07 am »

Anyone had this?  Mine had multiple tears just wondering what I have to look forward to in getting back to cardio and full strength.  Any things that help or to avoid?  I am on day 4 of healing up.

Probably about a 6 week recovery. I've seen people heal quicker before. I've also see in take closer to 8 weeks. As far as knee injuries go, meniscus is what you are hoping for when you go in as opposed to the other options. Should be full strength soon.

Ron Artest played an NBA game 8 days after his surgery.

Well knee feels great.  The bruising, swelling and blood draining down my leg feel like crap.
