Two Tennessee football players, including star running back John Kelly, have been suspended for Saturday's game with Kentucky after being cited for marijuana possession following a traffic stop in Knoxville on Tuesday night

Coach Butch Jones announced the suspensions of Kelly and linebacker Will Ignont on Wednesday afternoon, according to 247 Sports. The Volunteers (3-4, 0-4 SEC) travel to meet Kentucky (5-2, 2-2) on Saturday night.

"John Kelly and Will Ignont will be suspended for the Kentucky game as a result of the incident on Tuesday night," Jones said.
