I saw Emmitt Smith's son play tonight
« on: October 07, 2017, 02:04:17 am »

Plays tailback for Dallas Jesuit, where my oldest son goes to high school. "E.J." Smith is a soph. And has serious skills.

Since I heard this story about 10 times, I'm assuming it's true—a month ago, on a Friday night, when Michigan was in town to play Florida at the Jerry Jones Dome, Jim Harbaugh was seen climbing out of a helicopter after landing on Jesuit's baseball field. Evidently to scout E.J. However, I always wondered if it was actually Jim McElwain (Florida's coach). Since Emmitt was a Gator, I'd think they'd have the inside track on E.J.'s recruitment.

C'mon Bret, throw him an offer.
