FYI.  I have a suite on the east side.  I was notified this week that my renovated suite will be complete and ready for refurnishing on Aug 16.

So would you have bought stock in Microsoft when it was 20-30$ a share or waited until it was 700+  a share?  I like buying low and holding on to it myself.  If someone wants to spend their money on something they enjoy, then what business is it of anyone elsehow they spend their money?  Let alone listening to how someone else complains about how they spend their money .   Come on man.

No one has any idea how well the team will do under Morris.  I happen to believe the Hogs are gonna be every bit as successful as they were under Petrino.  And i think Morris will do it in a similar time frame.  Dude can coach, and he can recruit.  He helped build the blueprint to success at Clemson, he was starting to do the same at smu and i think he'll do the same here at Arkansas!    I am sure there will be people complaining tho no matter what the circumstances of the program are tho.

To some, $10 = $30,000 to others. I thought you were complaining about tickets prices?

So being brave is proportional to how much you think is appropriate to spend on what you say is or has been an inferior product. Unbelievable.

I understand there's a waiting list for suites?  When your name comes to the top do you commit to a certain number of seasons or is it just year-to-year?

Any word yet on what the price will be for catfish at the concession stand?  I’d pay at least $8 as long as they serve it “combo” style with hush puppies and fries.

No hushpuppies will be served.  Going with Cheddar Bay biscuits.  The condiment bar will include tomato relish, onions, tartar sauce, 5 brands of hot sauce, ketchup, and fancy sauce.

Actually, ticket sales haven't been that bad.  Attendance has been horrible, like MSU this past year.

That’s right.  And when people stop coming, they eventually stop buying.  That was why a change HAD to be made.  There is a built in lag between attendance and ticket sales.  Even if Morris is ultimately a bust, the change pushes the whiplash on falling purchases back a few years.

I notice from the construction cam that it now looks like Maple Street between Stadium Dr and Razorback Road is now closed and covered over with dirt.  Am I just misreading the photo, or is this true, and does anyone know what's going on there? I would assume they're just re-doing that section of Maple but it looks pretty drastic.

Officials last week announced that Maple Street will be closed from Razorback Road to Garland Avenue from Monday, June 25 through Thursday, Aug. 30.

Drivers will still be able to access the university’s Administration Building and Silas Hunt Hall. The intersection of Stadium Drive and Maple Street will also be closed. Detour routes will be marked, according to a news release.

Construction will occur in two phases to accommodate the university’s academic and football schedules. The second phase of the project will begin in May 2019 with an expected August 2019 completion date.

The work includes:

Construction of sidewalks on both sides of the road (width will vary from 5 ft. to 8 ft.)
Construction of curb and gutter with stormwater inlets and pipes
Installation of a new traffic signal at the intersection of Razorback Road and Maple Street
Installation of a pedestrian hybrid beacon at an existing crosswalk on Maple Street
Asphalt pavement overlay on Garland Avenue from Maple Street to North Street (Wedington Drive)
Asphalt pavement overlay on Razorback Road from Leroy Pond Road to Maple Street

Awesome.  At first I thought that you had got them in the mail.  I was excited about getting them early ---- they usually don't send tickets till early to mid August.  I honestly expect the WMS game to be pretty packed.  I'm glad we are playing later in the season so that it won't be so freakn hot.

Amen to that.

Yeah my wife asked me what the hold up was. I told her that tickets usually don’t go out until August. So we will see.

I’m very excited. Im hoping for a packed house for this game. It’s a GREAT opponent for sure to play in LR.

Yeah, it'll be be the 10th of August or later for season tickets, I'm not even sure if they'll send out the OM tickets then.

The room with the map is Moriss' office. I suspect with our increased staff/ recruiting, they need some more offices, just a guess. I don't remember when the indoor turf has been replaced, this may be the first time, though it would surprise me.

Razorback Rd and Maple from MLK to Garland Ave. will eventually be all four lanes with new intersection lights (removal of the stop signs), new sidewalks, and landscaping. It is being done in phases with the final phase is scheduled to be complete in the Spring of 2019.

I don't think they're touching Razorback road beside the stadium until they figure out how to finish the stadium over there. You'd have to search around but Mike Irwin did a long info discussion on this and the reasons why etc.
Would love if they would do it but I think they'd have to tear out the hillside to the west of the stadium and it's a big big to do.
