Whatever you do, go to Razorsedge for breakfast on MLK (6th).
They are closed for good, but will do catering.

Yeah, and spend $50 per person. She said they cannot spend that much. Hugo's is better price-wise.

If you're spending $50 dollars a head, you'll have plenty of food to take home.

No dispute here, except for their medium wings on half price Wednesday.

I agree there, those wings are very good actually.

Thanks everyone else for your suggestions!

I just googled The Catfish Hole is it good?

I grew up in South Arkansas and, except for needing to salt the hush puppies, it's really good.  Good service, too.

Try Mezza Luna's pizza.

It's by the baseball stadium. It's very reasonable and very good pizza. I think they season their pizzas very well.

I love the NWA food threads -- but I never understood why someone would suggest Ruth's Chris as an NWA option. You can get Ruth's Chris snywhere in America.

If you want fine dining in NWA, I suggest James at the Mill.
James at the Mill may be the best in NWA. For the morning of (or after) treat your family to Common Grounds on Dickson St.

Best places to eat while in Fayetteville?

Aunt Betty's off Ralston, best beans and cornbread in Fayetteville...
buy him the dessert.  It's $95 but they specialize in first timers...

ESPN Guide provided by South Carolina fans:

Quote
In regards to food, if you head on down to five points you can grab some great burgers at Pawley’s or Groucho’s for their signature sandwiches, or also Village Idiot for great pizza and happy hour on Friday!! For a great college nightlife, just check out the 20 plus bars with the great drink prices that college towns provide. For a more “out of college” experience, head over to the Vista where you can get some great drinks at multiple bars and restaurants such as the Blue Marlin, Liberty’s, and Carolina Ale House (rooftop bar). If you find yourself with a sweet tooth head up the street to Nonna’s, best desserts around! Lastly, make sure you have time to tailgate all day on game day in the Fairgrounds (make sure to check out the Cockaboosas, nothing else like them in the country!)

Gross dude, the Mexicans in there can't even cook pasta properly.

You can do better at home with flour, 2 eggs, and a can of Prego. The sooner that place goes under, the better.

I have been there many times when half the stadium was the away section. The vister side closest to what you would call their fieldhouse/dressing rooms. On the open end of stadium.

Wait till you hit the restroom. No urinals, you pee on the wall and it runs down into a concrete trench in the floor.

LOL...I had forgotten about the urinals, or maybe I just blocked out the memory.
I'm so old and my stream is so weak, I couldn't reach the wall without leaning over the trough.  Dangerous on a wet floor for sure!
I understand when the Bulldog fans get a little drunk...they stick their foot in the trough and piss down their leg!  Saved a few drownings... ;)

You know what I wanted to ask the question here to those that go to games often and can tell me where the best places are to go. This us our first time because we don't live a hope skip and a jump away, and my husband is a paramedic that often can't get off work to go to games because is too busy working in the back of an ambulance pushing IVs into people keeping them alive. It's also my 8 year old's first time to go as well. Yes, my 8 year old son that has dreamed about watching his favorite team his whole life. So, I really don't give a flying flick how Many freaking years you've been on here because I'd bet my 8 year son is more of a die hard fan than you far weathered heart. My son LOVES his hogs no matter how many games they win, who the coach is, or what decisions the current AD makes which is much more than 90% of the sorry fans I hear in hear gripping 24/7 do which probably includes yourself. Saturday, I garentee my family and I will enjoy ourselfs more than you and the other rude posters on here ever could because we will get to see a "true" fan in the eyes of an 8 year old. So if your tired of these homegame post like mine do yourself a favor and don't look at them.  I don't care how many years you've been on here, your odiously a miserable fan. Have a great day. WPS!

Lol, holy balls!! You must be extremely hot to be married with that temper.

I say skip the food, leave the kid at the hotel, and drink away some anger on Dickson street.

Yeah, except that if those folks are walking down the street and they need to pee, they'll just turn away from the street, unzip and go at it. Saw that happen in residential neighborhoods over there a lot. A bit of a culture shock.

If you want to be with the players family members and scholarship donars, sec W & V is where you want to be.  If you're across the field from those sections with the other visitors seats you will probably get some *ss with a cow bell in your ear.  Its horrible and you will leave the game with a splitting headache.  StubHub has those seats in W & V available but get them down low.  The seats in that section on the higher rows are Miss. St. seats.  I've been to alot of games over there and it's like a big high school. Fun but different.  Tip of Day-- If you tailgate don't leave ice chest or chairs out.  Ours >:( got ripped off last time we were there.  They're a class bunch over there!
