Hello everyone.

I wasn't sure where to ask this so if this is the wrong forum I apologize.

My son and I are heading to Fayetteville on Friday to attend the game.

We do not have a parking pass, so I was wondering if some of you could give me some advice on where we can park and how early we need to arrive.

I would appreciate any help you could give me and look forward to the game and the experience of being on your campus and being in your stadium.

Given the attendance there will be plenty of parking. My recommendation is to park on the northeast side of campus unless you need to leave town south on 49 immediately after the game. Traffic on the west side of the campus is much worse on gameday and you can get cheap parking a pretty short walk from the stadium.

Parking at Baum and shuttling is a good alternative if you are not inclined to walk a few blocks and you aren't in a hurry to get out.

Pak on Dickson. $5 all day. Enjoy the bars before and after the game. Walk to corner of Dickson and Arkansas ave. Take the sidewalk toward old main. then to the left of old main Walk straight to the stadium.

Again, I want to thank all of you for your help.

I just bought a parking pass off stub hub.  Lot 54 off Mitchell.  About a mile walk to the Stadium.

I appreciate all the replys to this.

Good luck to you guys on Friday.  Hopefully it's a good football game.

We always take exit 60 off 49N (Razorback RD)
Follow Razorback road till just before MLK Blvd and there is a business on the LEFT that offers parking for $20.  Can’t miss it, there is a Cowgirls Espresso in the parking lot as you enter.
Easy walk from there to stadium, have never had difficulty getting out afterwards.
This is where we parked yesterday. It really is a great spot.

Anyone going to the Mississippi St game?
« Reply #18608 on: January 01, 2018, 11:46:05 am »

I was going to take my son to the Tennessee game but I was sick. I've decided to make the trip to Starkville so my son can see a game this season. Anyone else planning on making the trip? Anyone have recommendations on where to stay or eat?

I don’t ever stay in Starkville for what that’s worth.

I got a B&B in Starkville already and just got to town. My son is 10 so it can't be a bar but somewhere that serves drinks would be nice.  I talked to a few people and most recommend Two Brothers for a seat down type resturant and Oby's.

Little Dooey's is good so is Harvey's, and Cotton District Grill.  All are fine for kids your son's age.  Starkville actually has a decent number of local places.  Oby's is good too just a little out of the way as far as proximity to campus.  People there are very friendly as well.  More like good natured rivals much more welcoming than some other SEC fans.

Not sure how many folks will be at the game since school is still out but The Hump is a great place to watch a game.  I've been to about a dozen or so there over the years.  Can honestly say not a bad seat in the house.

Parking for OSU Game on Saturday
« Reply #18615 on: January 23, 2018, 11:15:09 am »

Would like to park west of the arena for a quick exit to I49 north. The basketball parking map online shows some lots a couple of blocks west of the arena which are listed as "public parking". For instance, 74B and 74C. Are these public parking and if so, what is the fee?

Otherwise, how is the availability and fee in yards near Eastern and Nettleship? The parking lot north of the stadium is a little too far to walk.

I always park in the open lot behind the EZ Mart that's on the corner of Razorback/MLK across from the stadium. It varies from $10-$20, but makes the exit from the game nice and quick.

If you have time, go to Rogers and eat at chuys. It's the best Mexican food in the area.

Opinions on where to eat will vary as much as having E.I. set the batting order. It's all up to one's taste, budget, and time willing to wait. It depends on what you are looking for, and the meal you are eating. One would surmise you are eating after the basketball game, so gives us some details, like any preference in price or cuisine.

Slim's ain't local anymore, no more than WM is local.

Now, I enjoy their chicken tenders, but I was thinking more of offering him something he couldn't get in several other locations in Arkansas, or elsewhere.
