Winchesters in the not so great section on Dallas.  NO seating and have to wait in line just to give the order but man their burgers are good and greasy.

Tops Burgers in Ft. Walton Beach, FL. Heaven on a bun. And sweet tea that will single handedly give you diabetes. Drive thru only, no seating. Big greasy burgers and sacks of fries. For you guys that vacation down there, it's on Beal Pkwy near the old K-Mart (I have no idea what the building is now).

Calvin's Place off east 6th and John st in LR. Homeboy beer joint. Great greasy cheeseburger. Had to use the RedDot hot sauce to get the full effect. And yes, a 40 oz High Life with a glass. Been years ago.

Are you refering to the Band Box? Not sure. But yeah, great burgers. Used to see the movers and shakers in there alot. Moved to NWA in 94.

Absolutely. They changed locations (think they're on 6th street now), and they're just the box now.

Anyone remember the name of the burger joint on Hwy 7 in Jessieville, not too far north of Hot Springs Village?? Several years ago they had awesome burgers and really good fried catfish as well.

I usually go to at least one. We're still debating between Auburn or TTU. Which game should have a larger Arkansas contingent?

My dad's coworker is an Auburn fan and he usually gets us tickets to the game when it's in Auburn. It's gonna be HOT!

It was weird going in 2012 and sitting around all the auburn fans but at least we won

Ranking of the likelihood of Arkansas fans going to the following road games:
1. Georgia (just joking but not really)
2. Missouri
3. Texas A&M
4. Mississippi State
5. Texas Tech
6. Auburn

However, here's my ranking of the best road games to go to:
1. Missouri - Start of what should be a nice rivalry, somewhat close, and could be a big game in regards to bowl eligibility (I have us beating Missouri to get us to 6 wins and bowl eligibility.

2. Texas A&M - In a great stadium in a metropolitan area, should be a competitive game, and could be a game changer in recruiting if we can win.

3. Texas Tech - although not in a very fun location and a significant drive, it will be a game we likely win.  Like Texas A&M in that if we win, it will help in Texas recruiting.  Will be hot.

4. Mississippi State - Town isn't great but they just renovated the stadium so it should be a better experience.  It's within reasonable driving distance and should be a good game.

5. Georgia - closest road game and in the capital city.  However, it's against a team we'll likely lose to and the stadium is ok.  Good tailgating.

6. Auburn - At 3 p.m. in late August, it will be a hot one, against the toughest opponent of our road opponents, and it's the farthest away.

With all that being said, I hope to go to the Texas A&M and Missouri games.  They are both within driving distance, will be key games on our schedule, and both should have an exciting atmosphere.

Seriously considering aTm. I have a friend who lived in Dallas so I have a place to stay and me, him (Texas fan), and another friend (Nebraska fan) of mine are well overdo for a reunion. Although they don't care about the hogs they both hate aTm as much as I do so I only seemed natural

Definitely going to the Georgia game (I mean... if we're calling that's technically an away game)

All signs point to the A&M trip is good to go.

But... Of any of the road games, I know for a fact I won't be going to Starkville (ever again).  Went there in 2002. Stayed Thursday night at Tunica, then drove down late Friday afternoon.

We won the game, yes... but we should have just stayed in Tunica.  :puke:

2. Texas A&M - In a great stadium in a metropolitan area, should be a competitive game, and could be a game changer in recruiting if we can win.

................
Metropolitan?

The game is going to be played in AT&T Staduim, better known as Jerry's World.  Tell me something, do you not consider Dallas/Ft.Worth, Irving, Richardson, Arlington, Mesquite, Carrollton, etc., the list goes on of how many cities that are apart of the DFW Metroplex a Metropolitan area?  It has a population well over 6.5 million, and growing faster than any city in arguably the United States, getting a large influx of let's say immigrants, each year.

Now, since I got that off my chest, I'm going to the A/M game in the Metropolitan area of DFW, and would actually like to make the trip to Lubbock, I've never been to their College, even through all the years of the SWC I just never went. Now is as good a time as any.  I have one more I could go to, it would need to be either Missouri or Georgia.  I think I'd rather go to Georgia, Missouri I just can't get into yet.

have a group of friends spread from NY/CT (me) to CA that get together for one game a year,  this year we're coming back to the Rock for UGA game.

So it's been 20 years since I've been to a game in WMS, and I'll hit it twice this year.   my 30 year reunion will be around the Salt Bowl (Bryant grad).

A&M would be on my list. It is a fun time. I hate the Aggies but I will give credit to their band...they are pretty awesome. Their male cheerleaders...totally a different subject.

I went to a Texas Tech/Kansas game a few years ago in Lubbock. I was working out there for a few months and took in a game. The atmosphere isn't all that great and the stadium sets about like WMS, only in much better shape! The nightlife across the street from the stadium has some pretty good bands and the BBQ is really good. Other than that, I'd save my money for a trip to Auburn...which is the better venue.
