This would be a nice pickup a grad transfer DL from Notre Dame...6'3" 289lbs

The kid seems to have problems following coaches direction, not sure that fits Morris type guy.

I would take him. IMO if we go after a Grad Transfer it will be Oline. Probably a Center

And of course they must be selective considering the current scholarship count

The DC and co DC that recruited him at ND are both at OU now. Do the math.

Very few premises and considerations are absolute "givens" in major collegiate football.  OU, Clemson, Auburn, 'Bama and other top echelon programs could conceivably fail to produce as expected this year; - - and some of the also-rans (including Arkansas) COULD conceivably surprise some pundits.
