FBI investigation and "hall of fame" coaches
« on: April 11, 2018, 03:14:36 pm »

I have a question. If it ends up being true about these power basketball schools and their "hall of fame" coaches being involved in these latest FBI accusations, would you still consider them "hall of fame" material? I guess there's really cheating and slightly cheating?

Have any HOF coaches been accused of anything?

I don't think so yet with regards to the current investigations. Is Calapari hall of fame material? I don't have the answers, but it makes me wonder about what a coach could do wrong, yet still be considered as a hall of fame coach.

When it is all said and done I doubt that any head coaches or schools get hammered.

PITINO

Got me on that one I must admit, I think he got canned for his history and not so much on the latest deal concerning Adidas. He ran out of the get out of jail free cards.

Coaches aren't going to be caught with hands in the cookie jar more than likely. Most are smart enough not to get directly involved with the money changing hands, they just look the other way, take the talent that is delivered to them, don't ask any questions about how the talent is getting to them and keep plausible denial as an option.
