Grades, Playing Time, and Transfers
« on: April 06, 2018, 11:32:49 pm »

My questions and thoughts to HV.  Does your classroom performance relate to being a starter or a reserve with fewer minutes?  By this I mean the obvious difference between those who take academics seriously, and those who don't.  I still kind of feel that Anderson sent a message to his team by releasing Hall and Jones with a short statement and the not a peep afterwards.  It almost felt more like good riddance than goodbye.  Could academics be a factor with these transfers?

Yes, academics could be very important.  Mike expects players to go to class, make progress on their degree.  If these guys weren't going to class, then they are a lost cause.  Might as well cut bait and move on.

Let them be somebody else's problem.  Get rid of the cancers.  That certainly could be at play here.
