  • I normally don’t do autographs, but happen to have two items. The first is a Tyler Wilson autographed football. This actually belongs to my son who has autism. My sister works with Tyler’s mom, and she asked if Tyler would sign the ball as a Christmas present for my son. Tyler wrote a nice message and signed the ball. This one has meaning attached to it and Tyler remains one of my all time favorite hog players and people. The other item is a Bobby Petrino signed hog ball cap. It has no particular value and I wear it when the mood strikes me. It will eventually wear out and go the way of all worn out gear.

Stevie Ray Vaughn autographed picture.  Now framed, hanging on the wall.
Buddy Guy autographed shirt.  Talked to him for 20 minutes.  Heaven.

Was all set up to have a set of jerseys autographed by Jones, Jones & Scheffield as (I think this is correct, only the 2nd time in history 3 out fielders from the same team all hit 30 home runs in a season)

I think it was fricken Chipper that crapped out and didn't hit 30 while the other 2 did.

    Oh well.

  • 2 basketballs signed by the 94 championship team

I just have one of these - however, it is an authentic Final Four Basketball (Rawlings), not one of those balls with the white panels.  Got it from John George, the Bud Walton PA guy.

  • I'm an autograph dork in general... mostly books and records but i've got a few Razorback things as well. Gear wise is limited because it just takes up so much room but I've got a few basketballs, footballs and mini helmets.

my two favorite would be shoes though, NBA Game worn signed shoes by Corliss and Ronnie Brewer. I eventually want Joe Johnson, Patrick Beverley, Portis, Derek Fisher and Pippen but again... takes up a ton of room.

My favorite overall however is a photo i had signed by the entire 2009-2010 Razorbacks. (-Knile)

    love reading about everyone elses.

  • 1980 World Series program signed by Satchel Paige. Sat with him at game 1 of World Series for a couple of innings after the guy beside him left. I had no ticket and was slipped into all three games in Kansas City by a U of A coed who was working as an intern for NBC sports.

  • Razorback Helmet w Bobby Petrino sig

Rolled up dollar bill signed by Matt Jones

    Funny (the second part).

I also have a Petrino-signed helmet. I bought it at an auction during one of the Dallas Spring rallies. Another time Petrino was here, I had him sign an Uncle Heavy's hog hat. I also got Felix Jones to sign a white #25 Razorback jersey. Somewhere I have Frank's sig on a SWC basketball tournament ticket…but haven't seen that in decades.

Before my father passed away, he heard Darren McFadden (during his Raiders days) was making an appearance at the Bentonville Walmart. My dad always kept his ticket stubs, and grabbed one from the DMac's record-rushing South Carolina game. When he got to Walmart, he said the line was a mile long, so he didn't stay. Gotta give him credit for giving it a shot…that would have been awesome had it worked out.

Non-Hog, but Arkansas-related, I have a baseball signed by Dizzy AND Paul Dean.

He was shooting a movie in downtown Little Rock and a co-worker had a new mower blade in her car.  You should have seen his face when I walked up holding that blade.  He said that was a first for him.

I think my balls are worth more than your balls.

I've got two balls from 1992 that go for about $35,000 each. I could even sell one of them and keep on shootin' just fine.

    Got them for free, too.

1992 World Snooker Championship in Sheffield, England. Stephen Hendry defeated Jimmy White by a score of 18-14.

Hendry is the greatest snooker player of all-time. White was no slouch either.

They each signed one ball after the championship match and lobbed them grenade-style into the crowd. I got them both.

I seem to remember this -- it was a fantastic match! If I my memory serves me correctly, White led by 14–8, but Hendry then won 10 successive frames to secure his second World Championship title. Wow! What a trip down memory lane! Would you be willing to part with one?

  • Like several people here, I have a football helmet signed by BP. There must've been a run on them, but I got mine after about year 2. I also have an Emmitt Smith-signed football I bought at a fundraiser auction.

Man, I love that DiMaggio menu! That may be the winner here, of non-Hog pieces.

  •  A teen I mentored for some years got me a football signed by Coach Broyles shortly before he passed. (Coach, not the kid) Best gift I may have ever received.

On a side note, the same organization that I met this kid at had me get them 10 balls signed from the year that Smile was the coach for a silent auction. Oddly, only one was bid on as a gag gift. Somewhere in a trash heap are 9 more for the taking!

  • A Michigan helmet signed by Ryan Mallett where he wrote “Go Hogs” he signed before his freshman year at Michigan during their fan appreciation day. I told him I would cheer for him at Michigan but I would have liked it more if he signed with Arkansas. He told me, “You don’t know how close it was.” It all worked out in the end. Love the helmet he signed.

Lou Holtz".  Lou was the coach at Notre Dame at the time and the x-bil is a big fan of ND.
