Kentucky Offers 2018 Forward Cam Reddish

Cam Reddish, a 6-7 Class of 2018 small forward from Team Final and the Westtown (Pa.) School), picked one up from Kentucky on Friday.

Reddish previously held offers from Maryland, UConn, Villanova, Seton Hall, Penn State and Auburn.

Bob Reddish, the player's father, spoke with Kentucky head coach John Calipari.

"They were impressed with the way he's playing and see him as a fit for their program," Bob said.

Bob said his son would like to take an unofficial to Kentucky at some point.

"Cam is still so young," Team Final coach Aaron Burt said this week. "It's good to see him playing with so much confidence. He's our fill in the gap guy. If we need a point guard, it's Cam. If we need a shooting guard, it's Cam. If we need a rebound, it's Cam. He's so multi-faceted. He's 6-7 right now, which is scary.

"On June 15 or whenever they can call him [and members of the Class of 2018] I'm sure his phone will be super busy from almost everyone across the country."

According to Ben Roberts of Next Cats, Kentucky has now offered four players in the Class of 2018: Reddish, Marvin Bagley, Romeo Langford and Jaedon LeDee.

Shaquille O'Neal played at LSU for three years, but his son could be heading to Kentucky.

Shareef O'Neal is a 6-foot-9 power forward from Los Angeles (CA) Windmere who reportedly likes Kentucky, Michigan State and Duke.

"My dad actually wants me to lean towards Kentucky," the younger O'Neal told Sean Scherer of 247Sports, via

Shaq and Kentucky coach John Calipari are friends, his son told the site.

"[Shaq] likes Coach Cal," one high-major D-1 assistant from another school said.

O'Neal is ranked as the No. 10 power forward and No. 25 overall player in the Class of 2018...

At 6-4, 175-pounds out of Bel Air (Md.) John Carroll School, Quickley has a build and a game that at times brings John Wall to mind. Quickly isn't the freakish athlete as Wall, but he shares his build and feel for the game as a passer. He also shoots the deep ball a little better than Wall at the same stage.

It's been quite the week for Immanuel Quickley, a 6-foot-4 Class of 2018 point guard from John Carroll...

"[Villanova coach] Jay Wright called first," Quickley told from Colorado Springs, Colo. "But I got texts from Duke, Washington, Miami and Kentucky."

In the past few days he has added offers from Villanova, Arizona, A&M, UCLA and Maryland.

"I'm a natural true point guard that can run a team in the pick-and-roll situation along with being able to score," he said. "I would love to play fast, but can also play in the half court."
