  • SEC Network. It's just at the 3rd OT.

  • I was patrolling Hogville, so I'm on it now. Holy moly, did we ever just dodge a bullet with UK's last possession in the 3rd period.

  • In between the the OT periods, it's interesting to see clips of Matt Jones and Jared Lorenzen talking about the OT strategy and certain plays. Matt looks like a dude that's been living in the woods for 5 years, Lorenzen looks like an offensive lineman. Not that he was small to begin with. In fact, it they found an o-lineman from that team to interview, he wouldn't be bigger than Lorenzen.

And I just heard Decori Birmingham had FORTY carries for 190-something yards. Wow.

  • Yeah, it's funny what you pick up on years later.  I had no idea we beat Oklahoma 103-0 in 1918.

I saw george that next morning in fayetteville at breakfast. Said it was the most tired he ever was in his life.

I think they won that game 103-0.

Not according to one of those announcers!  I'm counting it as a win!   ;D

Great game. I left mid 3rd quarter when it started raining.

  • I missed it - I was watching the Ms. St / Vandy baseball game.

Wish I'd have seen this thread and I would have recorded it.

  • I was there. Seemed like AR came alive in the 7th OT. It was like they knew that they were going to win. Up to that point, it didn't seem like AR wanted to win. When it got to the 7th everything seemed to change. Lorenzo was huge. D couldn't stop him.

  • We probably should have lost…(however, we should have won the 6 OT game vs the Tennessee turds, also when Matt was QB).

In the 3rd OT period, we kick a field goal opening the door for a Kentucky win. On their first offensive play, they ran it down to the 2 YARD LINE. On their next play, the Hogs' D stuffs their run. Next play, same thing. They were planning on going for the win on 4th down, but got a huddle/substitution infraction, so they kicked it.

I remember how I felt after all those OT games—euphoric after our 7 OT win over Ole Miss (with freshman Matt Jones running the offense in overtime), totally sick after our loss to Tennessee (and, I couldn't stand their quarterback Casey Clausen)… but on this one, I was just glad it was over.
