So will the facade on this new addition be an indication of things to come on the west side or will they continue to make each addition a different look?

Which skylift have you been working on? Seriously, thanks for the pics, nice up close look for us. You need to see how the game day locker room is shaping up next weekend.

I will try

Hey, there is a hole in there. I was cool with it until I wasn't, then I was, then I was not, then I am.

Can we agree on what is best?

Thanks for the pics! A lot of it looks really good, but the mesh point between the old and new parts on the inside NEZ/West looks awkward. I hope it looks better when completed.

The mesh point will look better once they set the edge.

I'm kinda split on this one.  On one hand it does look goofy but at least it is bigger and better than what it was before.

Ultimately I don't care much one way or the other, just win more games than we did with Bert.

Are we going to be able to set the edge this year?  I agree if we do it will look better!

If we get great senior leadership and take it one game at a time, yes, we will set the edge.

Honestly surprised no one has complained about the wooden 2X4 railing they are using on the edge of platform, seeing as how we're spending all this money looks like they could get something a little stronger.

Apparently Francis, there's more than one of us.

But, I do get that some people don't like anything unique and identifying.  Same old, same old, for some of you.   At least living in Bama you don't have to look at it like I do every day i drive to work.  Sigh...

It most likely meets OSHA requirements.
ď1926.502(b)(3)
Guardrail systems shall be capable of withstanding, without failure, a force of at least 200 pounds (890 N) applied within 2 inches (5.1 cm) of the top edge, in any outward or downward direction, at any point along the top edge.Ē

The outside construction is to be finished by Aug 1st, the inside by Sept 1st. Yurachek was quoted as saying so in Omaha last weekend. I guess we'll see if anyone knows what they are talking about, lol.

We need a ďsell the gapĒ promotion, got any ideals.  Should be a great money maker, maybe help reduce ticket prices for the little man seats.

From someone in the construction industry 9 weeks and they still have s verrrrry long way to go.

Elevators (could be 6-10 weeks)
Outside finishes (6-9 weeks)
Inside finishes (up to 12 or more weeks)
Parking lot (4 week)
Clean up and removal of construction (2 weeks after completion)

It may be a situation where the outside is done and portions of the inside are finished.

They have to make sure that all life safety items are in place, and all inspection to get a temp C/O and they can be operational without being 100% complete

The place looks like a ghost town after 3:30 and on the weekends, I figured it would be full blow and 2 shifts

I havenít seen any details regarding the updates and remodel to the existing south and east club areas. Have any pics or details been circulated?

Iím hoping itís more than just a fresh coat of paint & carpet to call it a remodel / update, but I wonít be surprised if thatís all thatís done. Iíve seen almost no details to date. I assume thatís deliberate in an effort to get people to ďupgradeĒ to the north seats.

There was already a lot of room last year with how things went. I donít expect any changes, but the ratio of menís toilets to total seats in all of those club sections is absolutely abysmal. I donít know how that wasnít addressed before construction in the 01 expansion. You canít use the restroom and hit the concession stand within the halftime break. My first wish would be for them to correct that that ratio in a remodel, but I know itís wishful thinking and wonít happen.

Yeah, I doubt that is going to happen on the bathrooms. I just grabbed some random baby and used the "changing bathroom", lol. I didn't, but it seriously crossed my mind over the past 15 years.

If youíre in the SEZ, you walk over and hit the restrooms on the West side. Thereís never a line there. Then flash your ticket to get back into the club section. Iíve been doing it this way since Ď01 and never had a bathroom break take longer than 5 mins.
